The Supermaxx 500.

I purchased this gun at a garage sale for .10 cents.

To say I am happy at my investment is an understatement.

Here is the guns internals

But the internals aren’t really important, because all of the air restrictors
are external. They are the orange ribbed tip at the front of the gun.

I took off the yellow pump handle because it was broken.

Cut them out. I used a hacksaw, but a rotary tool will do just as well too.
Try to leave as much as the original barrel housing as possible.
I had to cut in sections until I found and removed all of the air restrictors.

After that take a “stub in, stub out” copper tube,
and electrical tape it until it is snug and fits inside the barrel housing.

That orange part hopefully you didn’t throw out, because you can force it on
the end of the barrel, like so.

What are the ranges? And how easy is it to fire now? Finally, good mod, I have not seen one done to that gun because it is so rare.

40-45 feet for a 500 isn't all that good.  I would switch my barreling to brass, or CPVC if I was you.
