Star tours battle aged rebel alliance bowcaster mod for STOCK DARTS.
Step 1: barrel replacement

First remove all the screws, throw away the scope and remove the red cap in the front of the blaster.

Then take out the plunger tube and cut off the rubber tube and cap it is attached to.

Then hot glue about 2 and one half inches of PETG on to the front of the plunger tube.

Step 2: minimization

Make a mark with a sharpie on the right half of the body shell

and cut it like so.

Then on the left side remove the ammo holder and cut it like the other half.

Next put the ammo holder back on, reassemble the internals and screw the case back together. You may also want to cut off the stock.

Then hot glue all around were the plunger sticks out.

Apply a bunch of duck tape.

Then add a small screw on the left or right side on the plunger handle and put on 2 weak rubber bands like so.

After all that is done should look like this.

Flat ranges are as follows
1: 48'
2: 50'
3: 52'
4: 49'
5: 50'

I think that is very good considering stock range was less than 10 feet.

Wow you really minimized that thing. My friend bought one of these, I think it was slightly different version though.

Anyway welcome to the site. Good mod write up, you got some nice clear pictures in there.

Nice mod man, clean with a lot of pictures. The only thing is, the name isn't "duck" tape it's "duct" tape

"Duck tape" is, evidently, a certain brand; however, generically, it is "duct tape"

And, since  I didn't say it before: welcome.
