Would a stefan fly good if you cut of about 1 millimeter of 1 end of the stefan, then drilled all the way through it to make it hollow, then place the BB in a hot glue dome and hot glue the other end on?

I don't really think so. If you made it hollow you would simply have a homemade version of the stock darts that Nerf makes. Regular un-hollow stefans are more airtight, giving you more range.
I suppose you could fire them in unmodded guns....
