Hey I recently got some Fbr at my local hardware store and after cutting and straightening them I realized that they were too small for my pvc barrels! Anyone else having this prob?

So, let's see...
1. Did you buy the 1/2" FBR?
2. I'm assuming you bought 1/2" white PVc, and not 1/2" beige PVC (ussually called CPVC).

If the answers are "yes" and "correct," then you mismatched your foam and barrel material. Try some 1/2" CPVC; it should be right around where you got the PVC.

PTEG isn't available at hardware stores.  If you are lucky, a pet store will have PTEG in the aquarium parts section.  CPVC is better.

CPVC is better.

I have found the when using petg on springers (night finder) That it has been too loose to build up pressure, cpvc is nice and tight. However, on an airgun like an AT2K PETG is much better because of the loose fit.

not to mention the fact that there are numerous types of couplers/Connectors(?) you can use to say, shoot around a corner or something.

Are you sure you aren't using 3/8th inch FBR? That Could be your problem right there.

Same stuff, different name.

Although, FBR does by no means have a very definite size. From one package to the next, the foam could be quite a bit larger or smaller.
