I'm late to find out about things....As always. But has anyone tried out the Iron Man N.R.F.? To me, It looks like a Magstrike with a new paintjob.....But hey its 10$ cheaper than the MS! Which might make it cooler than it actually is. Is it any different than the orginal Mag-strike?

From what I've read on NH it's the same blaster with a new paint job...but still it's kool.

Is it only available at TRU? From what I saw on NH it seems like that was the case.
If its about the same as the Mag-strike.....and cheaper....I want one.

I think it's cheaper because it only comes with one clip. Luckily for me I've got six already so I could buy this and never run out.

Yeah well, I already have 2 MS clips anyway. Those clips are such a bugger to MOD anyway.....Its almost better to have only one.

Reports on the HQ say that it is somehow better (when comparing the two when stock): The NRF only recommends 20 pumps (instead of 32). The NRF gets somewhat better range.

Huh.
Thats interesting. If that is the truth, it must be a slightly improved version of the Mag-strike. The Mag-strike uses a bladder....correct? Maybe its smaller?
Are the internals any different?

Yes, it does use a bladder.
But I don't think anyone has posted internal pics, so I don't know if there are any differences.

Perhaps the pump is more efficient?

No there is no difference. Plus if you read the HQ link you would find out that MS's are on sale. I got mine for $16 and it said only 20 pumps, + it came with 2 clips and the vest and goggles. If you ask me it's a little stupid to stop making the MS and then release it in a different color and less clips for more money than the ones on sale. But hey thats how NERF thinks.

I looked up your name, your account is still validating so you'll need to wait until it's validated to be able to post or anything.
I saw these at every store when I was out this weekend, but I noticed no difference between the normal Magstrikes and Iron Man ones. I'm going to pick one up myself and check it out.

I saw one at Target, it just wasn't in either of the 2 Nerf shelves. Guinea, it's still made by Hasbro which owns NERF. So it doesn't matter.
