Title: Help Post by: sourskittles772 on April 05, 2007, 06:39:52 am Hey I need some help picking out a gun. I am not good at modding. Do you think I should buy a longshot or a big blast.
Title: Re: Help Post by: robonerfer on April 05, 2007, 07:00:18 am If you're not good at modding, get Big Blast. It is extremely simple.
Title: Re: Help Post by: sourskittles772 on April 05, 2007, 10:13:10 am What easy mods are there to do to a big blast?
Title: Re: Help Post by: robonerfer on April 06, 2007, 04:21:42 pm Yank out the thing on the end of the barrel, then slide in some brass.
So easy you don't need pics. Title: Re: Help Post by: sourskittles772 on April 06, 2007, 06:08:39 pm did you do this mod? What are the ranges?
Title: Re: Help Post by: robonerfer on April 07, 2007, 08:16:41 am If it's like the blast bazooka, about 100 feet or much more.
Title: Re: Help Post by: OutBreak on April 07, 2007, 01:31:43 pm Get the Big Bad Bow at target. I did, and I love it. Ranges reach over a 100 feet!
Plus it's really easy to mod. Title: Re: Help Post by: sourskittles772 on April 07, 2007, 03:17:24 pm But I suck at modding... Hey robo will you sell me you big blast or blast bazooka?
Title: Re: Help Post by: jwasko on April 07, 2007, 10:27:21 pm But I suck at modding... You'll never improve at modding if you don't at least try! They say that taking the air restricter out of a Nitefinder is the easiest, but the Big Blast/Blast Bazooka (same gun, just different covering) is even easier. It seriously takes about 5 minutes, or less if you're strong enough to just rip the cap right off. You really don't even have to unscrew anything. And, depending on you stefans, you may not really need the brass. The stock barrel, once the cap is gone, is quite a good fit for my darts, anyway. Title: Re: Help Post by: sourskittles772 on April 08, 2007, 05:38:19 am Well the only mod I've ever done Was air restrictor out of a nightfinder...
Title: Re: Help Post by: shadowkid33 on April 08, 2007, 10:08:54 am The easiest mod to do is to take the AR out of and cpvc barrel a tech target gun. It took me 2 minutes once I had the gun apart. Some other suggestions would be an AT2k, Nitefinder, Big Blast,or a Magstrike(it's easy but it takes a little while).
Title: Re: Help Post by: sourskittles772 on April 08, 2007, 10:54:07 am Ok. I plan on cpvcing my nightfinder... Do I just take the barrel out and hot glue a new barrel in? Or do I need other materials?
Title: Re: Help Post by: Megamannt92 on April 08, 2007, 08:15:59 pm Modding a Big Salvo is pretty simple to You don't even have to open the gun....Just pop off the ARs with a philips screwdriver, and push in the CPVC.
Title: Re: Help Post by: robonerfer on April 08, 2007, 08:40:34 pm It doesn't matter if you suck, and I don't think so;sorry.
Title: Re: Help Post by: sourskittles772 on April 09, 2007, 05:35:58 am Well Im getting a modded longshot and modded big blast soon.
Title: Re: Help Post by: robonerfer on April 09, 2007, 09:41:31 am Is someone modding them for you, or are you buying a premodded one on ebay?
Title: Re: Help Post by: sourskittles772 on April 09, 2007, 12:31:10 pm Some one is modding them for me then sending them.
Title: Re: Help Post by: OutBreak on April 09, 2007, 01:25:47 pm One of the best part of nerfing is modding, try it out with hot glue. If it does not work put the old barell back on. Then when you get the courage try again.
Title: Re: Help Post by: robonerfer on April 09, 2007, 01:31:20 pm What mods are you asking for on the big blast?
Cause' that thing is REALLY easy. Title: Re: Help Post by: sourskittles772 on April 09, 2007, 01:49:58 pm pump plugged new brass barrel.
Title: Re: Help Post by: robonerfer on April 09, 2007, 04:48:16 pm I could do that. If you need anything, just ask.
Title: Re: Help Post by: sourskittles772 on April 09, 2007, 07:39:02 pm I could do that too... |
