Speaking of Maverick springs, has anyone replaced the spring on the maverick? My doesn't sound very powerful and I want to put a better spring in it. If you have, can you tell me what size/dimensions and all that stuff about it? Thanks.

I got my info from actually comparing them. And you should put a question mark at the end of your question because it is a question not a sentence.

NN, You can't replace the spring without doing a Nite-mav. It will break the cocking pin.

Is the pin the little metal stick that pulls the plunger tab back? If it is, my previous 2 broke and I heard you can put a metal nail in there to reinforce it. If I reinforced it, would it be possible to put a new spring in?

Another thing you have to worry about is the tab on the plunger that the rod pushes against. That broke off of my brother's Mav when it was stock.

All in all, DON'T put a new spring in a mav, Because even if you can find one that doesn't break the cocking pin, it will probably be too weak to make a big difference.

Alright, no Mav spring. Has anyone ever replaced or reinforced a BBB spring?
