(no hypehon(sp))  The magstrike owns the Ls and all other automatics.

I have both, and the Magstrike is much better, because it can't jam, and it has a cool way of using it where you hold down the trigger, then pump rapidly. It helps conserve ammo.

Hey. Well do you think someday the longshot will be sought after as The crossbow is now.... If so I might buy one and keep it nib.

In the future, sourskittles, try not to post in topics over a few weeks old. It'll get you in trouble on NerfHQ.

Although, this topic wasn't too old anyway...

In any case, as long as as Nerf doesn't rerelease the LS for 10 years or so, and as long as Nerf is still popular, I could see it increasing in value by a fair amount.

Of course, no one knows whether or not an LS will still be useful in a war. The crossbow remains popular due to the fact that it is easy to mod and is a springer that gets 100'+ (which no springer can really match, I think). Who knows; in 10 years there may not be many advances in commercial nerf guns. Then again, it may become such that springers regularly get Titan ranges, have magazines, almost never jam, etc. In this case, LSes will be obsolete and only collectors will value them.

So, in conclusion: If you have the money to buy an extra, why not?
