If you saw my mini-posts in the chat box then you probably already know whats going on. Heres the picture of my gun that I am modifying.

All I did was saw the tip of the nozzle off so more air can come out, and it seems to work. I plugged the hole where the water used to flow into. It gets better range with it plugged (seems so). I have a PVC/CPVC coupler on the nozzle that fits very snug on the front.  The problem I have is that I need to pump it 20-30 times to get decent ranges (60+feet basement is to short to measure for sure.). Also, if it doesn't have enough pressure I hear a loud hissing sound and air is leaking out. Anyone have any idea whats it wrong? If not, it works good and I can pump it 25 times in about 10 seconds.

Well Super Soakers are not meant to be Nerf guns...And the air release valve is usually fires out the air slower than that of a Nerf gun. I can't see how you can change this much either, unless you can create a better valve system.

If I had pics of the internels I might be able to help more.

I am in Ohio right now so I don't have any pictures. I think the valve releasing thing works perfectly fine. it shoots the air out in one blast instead of a stream. I think i will give it to my brother because it is very easy to pump and light. if I get it to work i think i will keep it. sorry if my capital letters are off, the computer in Ohio has no shift key, its broken.

Just get a two way pump forward and backward.  Then you only pump it like 10 times.  OR get a bigger pump to increase air input.  If that is what you were needing help with.
