The plunger would not be the problem, it would be the shell and the plunger head. These areas feel the most stress when the gun is cocked.

Well, when I tried bpsos mod orginally I cracked the rod in half, then I repaired it with a long metal bit and some glue. This weakened the plunger rod, and thus after a bit of extreme usage it broke again. I then epoxied it like a mad man and its better, instead of bits I have a huge galvinzed steel bolt covered in epoxy. I have a few more things to fix including the seal. just a warning to thouse who try this that you HAVE TO REINFORCE! A steel rod would be ideal, but a long steel bolt will work.
I'll get some internal pics of the new setup, and I may actually put it into a disk shot pistol for some cosmetic purposes. Oh and a super sweet dartag write up is coming your way, this weekend I may do the write up.
