Cut a 1 inch piece of 1/2 in FBR and melt a hole about 1/16 inch deep in the tip. Place a BB in that tiny little hole. Cover it with a hot glue dome about 1/2 inch. Then dip it into water fast. Let is sit there and then spray the back of the dart with Flourescant Green spray paint so that it can be seen in the grass.

I never thought of dipping it in water, thats a good idea..... I do this: I cut the proper length of Foam backer rod. I make an hole in the top and stuff the bb in. I pump some hot glue on the tip, level it out and.... WAIT! Really the hardest part of making these darts is putting too much or to little glue on them.

Make your darts shorter and straighten them.

Just experiment, you will find a setup that works for you eventually.

That could be your problem. Make a few fairly often, that keeps you good.

My current dart count is at 3,542. All of them good darts. This doesn't count CDTS.
